Healing Animal SCARS is designed to unite pet-loving adopters with homeless pets that are in need of quality homes. For more information, call 902-469-MEOW. We are looking for responsible loving homes for the feral and stray cats and kittens we rescue from a hard life on the streets.

All of our cats are tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. They are all vaccinated and given booster shots before they are adopted out. They are always spayed or neutered, if not prior to adoption, then it is included in the requested adoption donation. To view any cats we have available for adoption please see the photos below and visit our website here http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/NS28.html

Our adoption donation fee is reasonable and we screen thoroughly to ensure adopters will promise to spoil our kitty “fur”ever.

Broken Promises Rescue is a volunteer-run, non-profit animal rescue organization in Victoria, B.C. We are a group of experienced rescuers who have united to improve the lives of unwanted, neglected, and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island and, when resources permit, in remote communities and elsewhere in B.C. We try to help the many pets in the shelter system considered less adoptable because of medical or behavioral problems or simply because their colors, age, or breeds are currently unpopular. At Broken Promises Rescue we believe that all animals deserve a life without pain, hunger, or loneliness. We want them to know they are loved and cherished despite appearance, age, or medical condition.
